I have my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University School of Social Service and am a Licensed Clinical Social worker in NJ with additional licenses in CT & OH. My career has taken me down a couple different roads, first in school social work then eventually to my passion, individual therapy with adults. Over the last 8 years, I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, panic attacks, depression, postpartum challenges, bereavement, chronic illness & other difficult life transitions.
An important part of our work together is the human relationship we form. What good will my evidence based intervention do if we cannot relate to each other & I am not empathetic to your needs? My priority is having empathy for each of my client’s unique experiences and empowering them to reach their personal mental health goals. I will organically integrate my expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy, knowledge of mental health disorders & other evidence based strategies to apply to your needs
Everyone has an important life story to tell and I am a listener through and through. Each session, you can expect to enter a warm virtual environment & leave feeling heard, validated, and with some direction on what to think about and focus on that week. In our initial session I will learn more about your story and your current struggles, we will set goals together for our work, and figure out the coping strategies that work best for you. You will no longer carry this load alone.
